kitchen cafe ... bar ... live music

miss peapod's kitchen cafe is situated within Jubilee Wharf, a project that champions sustainability

We have tried to reflect it's principles with our recycled china and furniture, even our floor, which had a former life in a club in London

We believe that good food shouldn't cost the earth, and source with a priority to local, organic and fairtrade ingredients and lots of our menu is veggie or vegan

we are family friendly and wheelchair and buggy accessible

Dalla Album launch with Bragatanga

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dmcF-3dvdA

www.myspace.com/bragatanga07815048365                   "Bragatanga is a creative probe into the diversity of the European folk tradition. It is easy to find, as one listens, sitting on a log at a roadside camp, surrounded by the families of roaming people, the smell of fire-roasted game in the air, and violins, accordions, clarinets and rich voices fending off the spirits of the night. There is no way that a body can stay still in the presence of Bragatanga. The band is to be heard playing all over the place – fall in through the door and enjoy!" Bert Biscoe West Briton Braga Tanga are a four-piece band that create an exotic mix of world folk music, Eastern European gypsy tunes and a host of other mesmerising melodies from near and distant lands.

Braga Tanga are based in Cornwall but draw experience and inspiration from all over the world. The well-travelled musicians have written music for film and theatre, including Cornwall’s Kneehigh and Hall for Cornwall, and have worked with the Eden Project and Wild Works.
